Qualifications and experience

Strong business acumen to make sound Product safety and Business prioritization

As Application Engineer you join a multi-skilled technical department that handles everything from system adaption and interface issues through to detailed construction for manufacturing and purchasing. The team’s specialist areas include mechanics, electronics and hydraulics. As specialist for mechanics, you are the technical lead in projects from signed contract through to installation. Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing comprehensive sales plans, managing the sales pipeline and maintaining a strong focus on achieving Aftermarket sales growth for key customers to ensure targeted sales goals are met. Your focus is to consolidate market opportunities, forecast, and customer demand into a planning schedule. Responsibilities & tasks:
In this role, as Planning & Control, you will report to our Planning and Logistics Manager. The focus of the role is to balance the demand (sales order, service order, forecast etc.) with the supply chain´s capability. This is a temporary position, covering parental leave. Your main task will be to:
Work proactively to minimize disruption and risk for the business with forecast and capacity booking at the suppliers together with the operational buyer.
Assists with the preparation of program or schedule proposals to meet known or forecast demands for original equipment or spares.
Support the creation of defined scheduling scenarios for business evaluation.
Ensuring load & capacity impact is understood by the organization and that the planning is aligned.
Create plans for our delivery projects and make sure that our ERP system is up to date and reflects current commitments.
Ensure all supply chain risks that have potential to impact delivery are identified, prioritized and escalated, where appropriate, within the wider organization.
Ensure business continuity plans are in place to support recovery of supply if a major incident occur.
Optimize inventory whilst protecting delivery to the customer. Deploy standard inventory planning processes in the management of excess / surplus material.
Risk assessment to include the ability to implement the capacity plan, acquire material and compress lead time as required.

Qualifications and experience

Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly BAAN, along with a solid grasp of MS Office, is essential. We value a proactive interest in emerging logistical tools. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Data Controller to join our Spare Parts Sales team in a new position within the Global Customer Support division. We are looking for a technically savvy individual who enjoys maintaining data quality and making improvements to processes and structure within systems.

As a Product Data Controller, you will work across two key areas: Configuration management and Item administration. You will create product data records in our databases and systems (BaaN, Lotus Notes, Install Data Product Database (IPDB), Team Center (PDM)) for our new vessels, identifying the vessel and its product structure. Maintenance and continual improvements to data quality and existing records is a key responsibility in this position. You will need to apply a long-term perspective and plan for future applications of product data such as potential use within B2B portals. Future projects may develop extending this position to oversee work scope and tasks performed by resources in Poland and/or Croatia KM teams working across similar functions.

As Field Service Engineer your work is carried out in an international environment all around the world, why traveling a minimum of 120 up per year can be expected. An exciting opportunity has arisen as Development engineer at Kongsberg Maritime in Kristinehamn. We are looking for an experienced engineer in the mechanical field with a strong technical and engineering background. You will be part of a competent team working with development of our propeller systems and reduction gear.
You will be part of our Product Management Propeller & Reduction Gear department. The department develop and deliver market leading world class propulsion solutions from a product portfolio that consists of propellers, shaft lines and reduction gears for all types of vessels, ranging from aircraft carriers to smaller luxury vessels in the commercial and naval market. Our propellers vary in sizes from 1,5 – 10 m in diameter and in Kristinehamn we have delivered our high-performance propellers for over 80 years, starting with the well-renowned KAMEWA-propeller.
Key accountabilities
As a Development engineer, you get the chance to further develop and deliver the best propellers in the world. You will be included in all stages of the product development of our complex propulsion systems, from first drawings to the final test run. Your role is characterized by working cross-functionally with colleagues from other departments in our global organization, as well as collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you act as a specialist when it comes to complex mechanical issues, but also regarding hydraulic and numerical inquiries. Among other tasks, you will get to work with conceptual studies, detailed constructions, and investigations. You will be a part of a competent team of experts with the opportunity for you to develop in your own field of expertise.
In this position, travel is included, sometimes with short notice and with destinations almost anywhere in the world – on dry land, in dry dock or onboard a sailing vessel. You should therefore be comfortable with having travel as part of your work.

As a Documentation Engineer you will have various exciting tasks, such as creating and updating instructions for our manuals. We seek you who want to influence the result in a unique way by collecting the information needed to write high-quality technical information.
